Caricature by George Wachsteter (1911-2004) of Shari Lewis, star of local NYC daytime TV favorites over WRCA / WNBC-TV, `Shariland` & `Hi, Mom`. It was on `Shariland` that beloved characters Lamb Chop, Charlie Horse, Hush Puppy and Wing Ding made their debuts. The success of these two local vehicles led to the first of Lewis` many network television programs which garnered a total of 7 Emmys and acclaim from educators everywhere.
