One of seven paintings in the Great Moments in U.S. Olympic History collection, Howe's artwork shows that achieving greatness begins with a dream. Here, a young boy dreams of running with the U.S. Olympic Track Team.
To help raise funds for the 1976 U.S. Olympic Team competing in Montreal, Calada, Sears, Roebuck and Co., in cooperation with the U.S. Olympic Committee, commissioned five American artists through The Saturday Evening Post to illustrate posters recreating memorable scenes from our Olympic heritage.
