'Chimney Farm Bedtime Stories' was published in 1966, though we have been unable to verify the inclusion of the illustration in this publication. Day had previously worked for Disney, before taking up residence in Damariscotta, Maine.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
He was responsible for bringing Felix Salten's book "Bambi" to the attention of Walt Disney and was the illustrator for that and many other Disney creations, including "Dumbo". He was also a prolific sculptor.
