ABOUT THE ARTIST
Henry Edward Tidmarsh was an astonishingly industrious artist of the late nineteenth and early twentieth century. He was born in Islington in north London. He received his artistic training at the National Art Training School, south Kensington, today’s Royal College of Art and began his career painting murals in Sheffield.
