The label on the reverse details a conversation taking place between the wealthy father (Pater) and elegantly appointed daughter (Jane) regarding a suitor waiting in the wings. The father says, "Well, Jane, I have bought him. But what can you see in that second-hand, broken down, shop-worn old piece, rickety in the legs, and the veneer off in half a dozen places?" Jane replies, "Can it be I have inherited your passion for antiques?"
