ABOUT THE ARTIST
Richard Holberg was a commercial artist and illustrator, who also illustrated children's books written by his wife Ruth Langland Holberg. They shared a studio in the University Building in Milwaukee.
His work is in the archives of the University of Oregon Libraries in Eugene, Oregon.
He was a student of Alexander Mueller at the Wisconsin School of Art, and was a teacher at the Milwaukee Art Student's League.
