ABOUT THE ARTIST
Frank Forstneger was born in Chicago, Illinois in 1897. He became known for his painting, specificially as a commerical artist. He was a Chicago artist who seems to be best known today for painting portraits of Will Rogers that were probably used for Gerlach-Barklow calendars. He passed away in 1975.
